For all of his talk about helping the poor and telling us we have to be community activists, we already know how out of touch with even the average American Barack Hussein Obama is. It’s not just Obama’s “Arugula Moment,” when he famously lamented the price of arugula at Whole Foods to Iowa farmers who’d heard of neither the snooty greens nor green purveyor.
It’s the school to which the Obamas send their kids and the unnecessary and costly redecorating Mrs. Obama will do at the White House.

Obama Daughters: Their School Lunch Fit For a King
First, the school. We already know that attending Sidwell Friends School–the far-left Quaker school for the rich–costs a gazillion dollars a year, well out of reach from most American parents for their kids. For kids in the lower school, as the Obama kids are, it’s $28,442 apiece ($29,442 per year for middle and upper School (they’re too snobby to call it high school–they have to delineate from the little people’s “high school”). Yup, the Obamas are paying nearly $55,000 a year (more than twice the average annual American salary) to send their kids to elementary school away from the Black little people’s kids in Washington, DC. We can’t have that. But that’s old news.
Now, there’s the school’s lunch menu. Look at what Sasha and Malia are eating at school, this week. On Friday, for example, they and their classmates will be dining on:
* Cheese & Crackers
* Baby Spinach with Mandarin Oranges
* Roasted Atlantic Salmon
* Garlic Basil Pasta
* Roasted Local Squash
* Ice Cream

This is a school lunch for a seven- and ten-year-old? It sounds like an expensive meal at a high-end gourmet organic restaurant. Yet, this is what the elite Obama’s kids are eating for lunch at school. Does your child get this kind of haute cuisine for his/her school lunch?
Sorry, but this menu, this family, is totally out of touch with Americans. The only average “Americans” whose menu comes close are the detainees at Gitmo, who dine on the likes of sole amandine.
As much as I dislike Jimmy Carter, I have to give him and his wife credit for sending Amy Carter to public school, where she ate the same average lackluster public school lunch that her urban Washington, DC neighborhood kids ate.
Since the Obamas are all for helping the poor, couldn’t they send their kids to a much less expensive private school, where the kids eat, say, tuna, instead of roasted Atlantic salmon? $55,000 a year could feed a lot of poor people.
Then, there’s Michelle Obama’s decorating of the White House. Today, on the ABC hag-fest, “The View,” Baba Wawa noted that Michelle Obama’s inaugural ball gown’s cost ($1,500) was a sign that the Obamas would be frugal with America’s money. Dream on, Dead Woman Walking Walters. The White House redecorating is more emblematic of the me, too, elitist Obamas.
Every four years, the incoming President gets a certain amount to redecorate the private residence of the White House, already beautiful and state of the art. But times are different now, and they’re tough. Does a residence that was just redecorated four years ago need $100,000 of more redecoration? Why not set an example, and return that money to the treasury or–as the Obamas preach to us–give that money to feed the poor and homeless?
Fuhgedaboutit. The do-as-we-say-not-as-we-do Obamas wouldn’t think about such charity and budget consciousness in times of less prosperity and belt-tightening for other Americans.
Michelle Obama has already hired interior decorator to the elites, Michael S. Smith, for the job. Smith laments that, at $100,000, this is the least payment he’s gotten for a job and that he’s gonna do it anyway.
Thank Heaven for small favors.

I was away for the late morning and early afternoon, screening the new animated 3D movie, “Coraline.” I missed the O-Nauguration, but it looks like I made the right decision. I’m prohibited from posting my review until the day it debuts (February 6th). But WOW! Here’s the trailer (if the mother sounds familiar, it’s because she’s voiced by Teri Hatcher of “Desperate Housewives”), which simply doesn’t do it justice:

Hmmm . . . I wonder if a band of American non-Muslims could throw shoes at an Obama White House and get away with it the way Jamilla El-Shafei (who runs shoebush.org) and her buds did in their “classy” send-off to President Bush in solidarity with one of their violent Islamic (redundant) compatriots in Iraq:

More than 200 protesters led by a Maine activist marched to the front gate of the White House today and tossed their shoes at the fence as a farewell gesture to outgoing President Bush.
No one was injured or arrested in the protest, which made its way from DuPont Circle down Connecticut Avenue to the president’s residence.

Jamilla El-Shafei, who led several anti-war protests while Bush vacationed in Kennebunkport, was the lead organizer for Shoebush.org, which sought to emulate the actions of Iraqi journalist Mutandar Al-Zaidi.
Organizers collected donated shoes around Maine for the protest today.
El-Shafei said the incident has become symbolic for activists who feel their efforts have gone unnoticed by the president.
“(Al-Zaidi) pierced through the reality Bush was portraying,” she said.
El-Shafei said she was pleased by the turnout, which included members from activist groups such as Code Pink and The World Can’t Wait, because of the number of events taking place around the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama, including a day of service.
Organizers were uncertain whether they would be able to throw shoes at the White House or would face arrest due to the heavy security for Tuesday’s inauguration. El-Shafei said she was grateful for that.
“We were determined to make a statement and the police let us make it,” she said.

This is what we get when we keep allowing Muslims into the country. More Jamillas until they reach critical mass . . . and it isn’t just shoes they throw at the White House.
As Ron Burgundy would say, you stay classy, Jamilla. . .

Check out this Reuters photo and read the caption. Is it just me, or do you also scratch your head wondering what Al Sharpton is doing as a panelist in a forum on education? I mean, after all, this is a guy who graduated high school, and that’s it. He dropped out of college and spent his college years as a tour manager for James Brown. That’s quite an impressive credential in advising America how to improve its schools.
That’s not to mention the disgusting fact that a high school named for one of American history’s most prominent Jews, Supreme Court Justice Benjamin Cardozo, would invite one of America’s most famous Jew-haters to pontificate about anything there.
Then, there’s John McCain. That this guy–just like Sean Vannity and Bill O’Reilly (who constantly give this Black supremacist Nazi a forum)–doesn’t have the guts or the least bit of principle to say, “I’m not appearing at a forum with this racist, bigoted anti-Semite who incited the murder of Yankel Rosenbaum and several Black employees of Freddy’s Fashion Mart,” says it all. We already know that Al Sharpton is at home with the Obama White House and will probably be a guest there. But don’t think a McCain White House would welcome this putrid scumbag any less.

Here’s a refresher on Weird Al’s “interactions” with the Jews, which included shouts of “Kill the Jews” and “Burn Down the Jew Store.” Not interested–nor should anyone else in America be–in what he thinks we should do to “improve” American education.

As I’ve written many times, last year, on this site, the election of Barack Obama won’t end the constant affirmative action over past racism that we are endlessly subjected to, even though many of our parents and grandparents weren’t even here at that time. On the contrary, Obama’s Inauguration, as we saw earlier today, will only encourage the race merchants, at least one of whom spoke at the event. I’m talking about the racist Rev. Joseph Lowery’s claim that White people have yet to do the right thing (he’s waiting for the White Man to “embrace what is right”). Apparently those of us with White skin are all wrongdoers, in his worldview. And in Obama’s too, since he invited him and since his camp likely vetted this BS beforehand.
On Sunday, Tavis Smiley told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the inauguration of Obama as President is “only the down payment” on what America owes Black people. To that, I ask, when do we White eternal wrongdoers get to walk out on that mortgage and walk away, or at least get some kind of federal bailout from this constant set of payments we can’t afford after this down payment we can’t afford?

And then, there is White “wrongdoer” Ellen Burstyn (See Rev. Lowery’s Inauguration comments). This nutjob actress, at the O-Nauguration, is typical of the White “wrongdoers” (See Rev. Lowery’s Inauguration comments) who helped elect Barack Obama. She recounts her sorrow over an instance of racism that she actually believes she is not responsible for. But in reality, she was a participant. And it is her guilt over her racism and that of millions more Americans that deluded them into voting for this guy and causes them to continue to see apparitions of a deity in him that simply aren’t there.

Ellen Burstyn portrayed Barbara Bush on screen in Oliver Stone’s W, but in reality the Academy Award winner has never been to an inauguration. “If you’re only going to do one inauguration in your life, this is the one,” Burstyn said.
As a member of the Creative Coalition, she spoke Monday to a group of the nation’s top high school students. She told them that after she graduated from high school in Detroit in the 1950s, she took a bus trip to Texas on a crowded public bus there she sat next to a black man, who was startled and jumped up. A white man informed her, “We don’t sit next to colored folks down here,” she said. “I felt this shame come over me that went right into my heart.
“Today that shame is lifted on Martin Luther King’s birthday, and I have the honor to read the words of our next president, Barack Obama.”

Um, Ellen, that racism you committed when you sat by and allowed this to happen is not “lifted.” Voting for, electing, and inaugurating this guy won’t change what you did.
Ms. Burstyn–who fancies herself a New-Age Sufi Muslim minister (I don’t think real Sufis see her thus) did nothing and didn’t sit with the Black guy or beckon him to sit down while she stood. Yes, she participated in the racism against this Black man on the bus. Not me. So why should I have to pay for her racism with a liberal, inexperienced, far-left vessel as President, who starts out his first day with a man he invited to speak to America, calling all of us White wrongdoers, people who have yet to “embrace what is right”?
Hello . . .?
Four to eight years of this crap because of the racism of this White liberal anti-Rosa Parks’ White guilt and that of tens of millions of other Americans. What we need to solve this is a National Psychiatric Czar, not a Black President.
Get ready for your next payment on whatever it is upon which Tavis Smiley et al. believe we only made a downpayment.
